Make sure to keep the summer safe for your doggy this summer. Here are some tips to help you get ready for summer. Leave doggy at home Warm weather means hot car. It is best to leave your doggy at home. If traveling with your dog bring bottled water and leave the air conditioner on. Cracking the window open is just not good enough. It is also not safe for dogs to ride in the cabin of the truck. I would not suggest kenneling dogs in the heat in the back of a pickup truck. Paw pads are not shoes The heat also means hot cement and pavement. Pads on dog feet are not heat proof. Always test the heat of the pavement while walking your dog.
